North Coast Shade has deep roots in Grafton. The business was originally Southside Canvas and Upholstery, where owner Michael did his apprenticeship under a local family who ran the workshop for more than 30 years. Michael later bought the business and grew it into the custom shade business you see today.
Michael runs the day-to-day with clients while his wife Katie looks after the admin side. We design, fabricate and install shade sails, waterproof PVC sails, canvas covers and umbrellas for residential, commercial and government clients from Clarence Valley and surrounds. We're fully licensed installers, we measure and quote free of charge, and handle repairs, maintenance and insurance work too.
